#HAWMC: Stream of Consciousness After TEDMED Day #3

After two extremely packed days at the TEDMED conference and absence from this series, today’s post continues the month-long series called the Health Activist Writer’s Month Challenge (#HAWMC) created by WEGO Health.  Today’s writing prompt: Stream of Consciousness Day. It’s been two awe-inspiring days of TEDMED2012 and my mind overflows with inspiration from macroscopic and microscopic; arts and science; painting with words, speaking with images; wellness in beauty; we can all be well; cadavers go digital, cells network while cancer cells and microorganisms evolve at the speed of light; ground breaking innovation and back to basics; collaboration, collaboration, collaboration; the poets say GO! young minds discovering old truths; wise old sages as devoted as the day they began; call to action, proclaimed revolution; be brave, brave, brave; we are the one’s we’ve been waiting for; advocates of every type with a powerfully unifying trait: passion, passion, passion; understanding systems and making connections; through collaboration we can solve the Great Challenges but we’ll begin with these 20; open your mind; break through; step out of the silos; think laterally; play a game to rediscover imagination; at the center of all the data there is still the face of a patient, no a person, a life ultimately every life affected by disease by death; it’s your health why settle for less? the excellence in this room; a curated experience full of insights that engage and excite then incites…
